Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Lab Technician to support daily laboratory functions, including cleaning, preparation, extraction, and stocking of supplies, in compliance with SOPs and QA programs. The role may involve standing for long periods and handling chemicals and glassware.

Responsibilities include data entry into LIMS, routine waste disposal, equipment prep, and timely QC sample processing, with a competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs and written/verbal instructions.
• Performs routine laboratory cleaning.
• Disposes chemical waste using approved methods.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Accurately enters data into LIMS.
• Washes and inventories glassware and equipment; may prep for shipping.
• Maintains training documentation.
• Completes QC samples timely (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT).
• Demonstrates compliance with safety and QA standards.
• Collaborates with team and supports other lab areas as needed.
• May prepare reagents and spikes; may perform extractions.
