Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform chemical analyses on lab samples using EPA, RCRA and waste-analysis methods. The role operates instrumentation independently and prepares, runs, logs and reports analytical data.

You will uphold safety standards, calibrate curves, monitor equipment, manage inventory, keep records, and support the team with additional duties. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science is required; two+ years of lab experience can

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science (required).
2+ years of documented laboratory work experience allowed in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices.
Prepares, composites and logs samples per Waste Analysis Plan.
Performs fingerprint and pre-approval sample analysis and reports to supervisor.
Completes bench analysis for in-house processing.
Prepares calibration curves for analytical instrumentation.
Monitors lab instrumentation for malfunctions.
Maintains lab equipment and chemical supply inventory; requests purchases.
Maintains proper logs per company policies.
Coordinates retention and disposal of lab samples and waste.
Performs housekeeping duties per policy.
Takes on additional duties to support team.
