Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Melville, NY is seeking a full-time Supervisor to lead laboratory, services, and field operations, onsite from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday. The role involves managing staff, coordinating testing schedules, and ensuring quality control while aligning with company safety and compliance requirements.

You will oversee test workflows, maintain accurate data, mentor team members, and contribute to department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field; 5 years lab/services/field/testing experience; 2 years team leadership preferred.
• Supervisory principles and practices.
• Knowledge of lab, services, field or testing programs, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and providing compensation recommendations.
• Oversees operations in lab, services, field, and scheduling.
• Ensures accuracy of tests, databases, and reports; conducts audits and reviews.
• Interprets and applies department policies and regulations; guides management.
• Leads or participates in cross-functional projects with budgets and timelines.
