Job summary

Join Pace as a Scientist in our environmental testing laboratory. You will conduct hands-on analyses, ensuring the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM fields, and the ability to work in a lab environment with PPE. Shifts are Tue–Sat, 9:00am–5:30pm, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful scientific work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE and odors.
• Willingness to work Tuesday–Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results clearly in records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.

Education
