Pace Labs in Peoria, IL is seeking a Scientist 1 to join our environmental testing laboratory. You will perform hands-on analysis, ensuring the integrity and quality of environmental data that impact communities. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, onsite.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or an equivalent education/experience. Training is provided, and you will work with instruments like GC, HPLC, and ICP while adhering to PPE requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other science-related field.
• Willingness to receive training and work in a lab environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and wear PPE.

Aufgaben

• Conduct hands-on analysis in the environmental testing lab.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and document results, calibrate instruments, and maintain records.
• Operate GC, HPLC, ICP and related laboratory equipment.
