Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Scientist in McFarland, CA to analyze air, water and soil samples using established methods and to review results, documenting procedures and observations in laboratory records. You’ll operate instruments, calibrate equipment, and maintain high-quality data while working in a safe lab environment with required PPE.

This is a full-time, on-site role with Monday–Friday shifts. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related STEM field, ability to stand for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field.
• Able to work in a lab environment, stand for extended periods, and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Work with instruments to analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods looking for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
