Job summary

Pace Labs in Mount Juliet, TN seeks a Scientist to conduct hands-on environmental testing in our state-of-the-art laboratory. You’ll perform analyses on air, water, and soil samples using GC, HPLC, ICP and other methods, ensuring data integrity for our clients and communities.

You’ll document results, review data, and maintain equipment while operating in a shift that runs Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM. A chemistry-related degree and a readiness to train are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM fields.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE provided.
• Willingness to train and develop in environmental laboratory methods.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and related equipment.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results from sample analyses.
• Document procedures, observations, and results for quality records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
