Job summary

Eurofins Environmental Testing USA is seeking an Associate Scientist for 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) to prepare and analyze environmental samples using approved methods in our QA-compliant laboratory. This role involves routine tasks, data reporting, instrument maintenance, and strict adherence to safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/BA in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or related field, or equivalent lab experience, and demonstrates proficiency with computers and strong

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry or related field (or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree).
• Proficiency with computers and strong English communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Record, report data, and notify supervisor of unusual test results.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Maintain personal training documentation and QC samples as required.
• Ensure compliance with Eurofins Environment QA standards and safety procedures.
• Inventory and stock laboratory supplies; wash and inventory glassware.
