Job summary

Eurofins Environmental Testing seeks an Associate Chemist for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm, M-F). The role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using approved methods, with emphasis on GC/MS and semi-volatile organics. Candidates should have a chemistry degree or relevant lab experience and be proficient in English.

Pay is $18.00–$20.90 per hour with a 10% shift differential. The company offers full benefits including medical, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry or related field; Associate Degree; or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques and perform chemical analysis.
• Evaluate and quantify data; report unusual test occurrences to supervisor.
• Maintain routine instrument maintenance and keep training records up to date.
• Work under supervision with standard methods and ensure compliance with QA procedures.
• Assist in other lab areas as needed and manage workload with backlog reports.
