Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a laboratory or sample receiving environment preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA/EPA safety protocols and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LIMS software.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming water samples following SOPs.
• Verify labeling, identification, and sample integrity on receipt.
• Record sample details in LIMS and maintain chain-of-custody.
• Store samples with proper temperature control and preservation.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery for analysis.
• Respond to inquiries regarding sample status and updates.
• Notify clients if samples do not meet requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the receiving area.
• Assist in inventory tracking of testing supplies.
