Job summary

The Analyst II role at Eurofins Environment Testing America involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using standard and advanced methods in a compliant lab setting. You will validate data, review results, and upload data packs into the LIMS for client delivery, applying discretion across diverse instruments.

The position requires a BS/BA in chemistry or related field (or 2 years’ substitution), plus experience with GCMS/FID and organics; US work authorization and strong English

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in routine and complex lab procedures and instruments.
• GCMS and FID experience required; 1 year organics experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures using standard and complex testing methods.
• Batch and prep samples; make reagents; aliquot extracts for productivity.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Upload data into LIMS and perform Level I data reviews.
• Maintain logbooks and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
• Assist in training new analysts and support others as needed.
