Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Dallas, TX is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples following EPA methodologies in compliance with QA programs and SOPs. The role involves routine lab tasks and training on instrumentation, with a structured schedule Monday–Friday and potential overtime.

The position requires a BS in Chemistry/Biology/Microbiology, professional English proficiency, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology required.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Prepares samples using standard techniques
• Performs chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Calculates data
• Records and reports data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
• Performs routine instrument maintenance
• Complies with environmental, health and safety and quality assurance standards
• Responsible for general housekeeping in the work area
• Ability to become trained on complex instrumentation including gas chromatography, UV-Vis, BOD/CBOD-analyzer, multi-analyzer and data systems
• Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods
• Aliquots and weighs samples
• Washes glassware
• Performs activities safely and efficiently
• Performs other duties as assigned
