Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard EPA methods. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with competitive benefits and starting pay of $20 per hour.

You will perform routine laboratory tasks, record data, and ensure compliance with GMP/GLP, safety, and quality standards while growing your hands-on instrumentation experience in GC, GC-MS, AAS, ICP and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree
• Reading, writing and speaking skills required; problem solving and time management essential
• Experience in a laboratory setting and adherence to GMP/GLP is expected

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques
• Perform chemical analysis using standard methods
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences
• Maintain routine instruments and prepare aliquots and weigh samples
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality standards
• Support general housekeeping and safe, efficient operation
