Job summary

Eurofins Environmental Testing (USA) seeks an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples following EPA methodologies and QA programs. The role requires attention to safety, accurate data reporting, and a capacity to work under close supervision with various analytical instruments.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Chemistry or related experience, possess strong English communication, and can lift up to 25 lbs with readiness for overtime. Located within commutable distance to Buffalo, NY.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Experience in an environmental lab is a plus.
• 1–2 years preparation/analytical experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and safety mindset.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis according to EPA methods.
• Record and report data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and QA standards.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the work area.
