Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples in a quality-focused laboratory environment. You will validate data, review it at Level I, and upload results into the LIMS system to assemble data packages for clients.

The role requires handling diverse instruments, following SOPs, and supporting QA/ESG procedures. Candidates should have a chemistry-related degree or equivalent lab experience and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field or 3 years of laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory procedures requiring knowledge of scientific methods and testing procedures.
• Uploads data into LIMS system for review.
• Performs Level I review of data produced to ensure accuracy.
• Maintains logbooks and monitors refrigerator temperatures.
• Responsible for complying with ERT Quality Assurance standards and safety protocols.
• Assists in training new analysts and other laboratory areas as needed.
