Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment testing lab is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples using EPA methodologies. This role requires careful data recording, routine instrumentation, and adherence to quality standards.

You will train on a variety of instruments, including GC, GC-MS, ICP, and AAS, and must be willing to shuttle to the Richmond, VA lab for training as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in laboratory environments or production-oriented work is helpful.
• Good reading, writing and speaking skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analysis using standard techniques.
• Calculate and record data; report unusual test occurrences to supervisor.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance; operate under supervision.
