Job summary

Occidental College’s Moving Forward Network (MFN) is seeking a Policy Campaign Director to lead national environmental justice campaigns and co-lead MFN with the MFN Project Director.

Based in Los Angeles, you will develop and direct campaigns, build coalitions with frontline communities and partner organizations, represent MFN at national events and in Congress, and guide leadership development and strategic planning within the network.

Qualifications

• Strategic, relationship-oriented, and adaptable leader with high emotional intelligence.
• Campaign and coalition-building experience with organizing/political expertise.
• Cultural competency and ability to engage diverse frontline communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct campaigns of the Network with guidance from the MFN Advisory Board.
• Lead leadership development, policy development, and strategic planning within MFN.
• Represent MFN at external meetings and events across the country, from frontline communities to congressional halls.
• Collaborate with MFN Project Director and Network members to advance campaigns.
