Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering Intern to join our Orlando team and gain hands-on experience on real-world water and infrastructure projects.

You will work with leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of municipal, federal, and industrial projects, collaborating with interns and multidisciplinary teams while gaining exposure to various engineering domains and project delivery methods.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a relevant engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate engineering solutions to support project analyses, reporting, and design.
• Assist with development of engineering calculations, technical reports, project documentation, and presentations.
• Gain hands-on experience using ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel and other engineering software.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to support project deliverables.

Education

Pursuing Bachelor's in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering or related field
