Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. in Blue Ash, OH is seeking highly motivated Environmental Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program.

This is a paid full-time internship anticipated to run from June through August 2027 (flexible) with potential to transition into a full-time role after graduation. The successful candidates will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and technologists on diverse projects and learn through hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor or Associate degree in Environmental disciplines.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support project tasks including regulatory requirements, research, and procurement support.
• Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation and data presentation.
• Assist with field sampling: groundwater, soil, soil vapor; assist with ecological risk assessments.
• Oversee field work such as soil excavation and due diligence inspections.
• Assist with engineering calculations and design tasks for various properties.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
