Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking motivated Environmental Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program out of the Woburn, MA office. This is a paid full-time position running from June through August 2027, with a potential transition into a full-time role after graduation.

You will work under project managers and team leaders alongside engineers, scientists, and technologists. The successful candidate will support regulatory tasks, perform data management, and participate in field sampling and IAQ/IH

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in a related field (env eng, safety, geology or environmental science).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory tasks, review estimates and research.
• Perform data entry, data management, evaluation and presentation.
• Field assistance with groundwater, soil, soil vapor sampling and ecological risk assessments.
• Field work oversight including soil excavation and due diligence inspections.
• Perform engineering calculations and design assistance as needed.
• Go into the field for IAQ assessments and IH assessments.
• Calibrate equipment and assist with related duties as necessary.
