Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an Environmental Intern to work with Environmental Program Managers in Malta, NY. You will assist efforts to improve environmental performance, gain exposure to management systems, and learn regulatory requirements for semiconductor operations.

The role requires being a sophomore pursuing a relevant degree with at least a 3.0 GPA and English fluency, and the ability to work full-time during the internship.

Qualifications

• Education: Sophomore status and pursuing a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in environmental science, chemistry, or engineering; minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Support resource conservation project tracking and reporting focusing on ISO, RBA, ESG, and GF objectives.
• Assist regional environmental team with process documentation, metrics, and business controls.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, facilities, logistics, and quality to identify opportunities supporting environmental goals.
• Perform other duties to support EHS&S activities.
