Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the internship experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to safely ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license for work-related travel.
• Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from place of work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms preferred.
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $43.23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Interpret and/or develop Company environmental policies and guidelines; develop methods for conformance.
• Provide guidance in organizing programs and procedures, monitor compliance with policies.
• Design/review engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment/systems.
• Identify and investigate environmental problems; initiate steps to prevent recurrences; communicate with senior management.
• Stay abreast of environmental legislation and standards; assess regulatory impact; obtain permits as required.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, training material and programs; inform employees of policies.
