Qualifications

• Strong academic performance is expected for interns/co-ops.
• On-site work readiness for 40 hours per week is required.
• Candidates pursuing environmental engineering/science degrees with interest in MPC’s environment programs.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and/or develop Company environmental policies and guidelines; develop methods for implementing and conformance.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance in organizing programs and procedures for requirements, including budget inputs.
• Design and/or review environmental engineering designs and cost estimates; determine specifications and recommend equipment.
• Identify and investigate environmental problems and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Keep abreast of environmental legislation and regulatory actions; prepare reports and obtain permits as required.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, training material and programs; conduct training sessions.
