Qualifications

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree seeking program for the duration of the internship experience.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to safely ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs and/or ladders, and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license for work-related travel and reliable transportation to and from place of work.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms is preferred.
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $43.23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Interpret and/or develop Company environmental policies and guidelines.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance in organizing and establishing programs and procedures to implement and administer requirements.
• Design and/or review engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment/systems; determine engineering specifications and recommend equipment.
• Identify and investigate environmental problems or issues and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Keep abreast of environmental legislation and regulatory actions and prepare required reports and permits.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, trainings and programs; inform employees of related policies and procedures; conduct training sessions.
