Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the internship experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Must have a valid driver's license for work-related travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms is preferred.
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $43.23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Interpret and/or develop Company environmental policies and guidelines; develop methods and procedures for implementing and assuring conformance.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance in organizing and establishing programs and procedures to implement and administer requirements, including budget inputs; monitor compliance with these policies in assigned areas.
• Design and/or review environmental engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment/systems; determine engineering specifications and recommend equipment.
• Identify and investigate environmental problems or issues to determine cause and contributory circumstances; initiate steps to prevent recurrences; communicate with senior management.
• Stay abreast of environmental legislation and regulatory actions; participate in impact assessments and permit applications.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, training materials and programs; inform employees of related policies and procedures; conduct training sessions.
