Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree seeking program for the duration of the internship experience.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Must have a valid driver's license for work travel.
• Must provide reliable transportation to and from the place of work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available for multiple work terms is preferred.
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $43.23 per hour

Responsibilities

• Interpret and/or develop Company environmental policies and guidelines; develop methods and procedures for implementation and conformance.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance in organizing and establishing programs and procedures to implement and administer requirements.
• Design and/or review engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment/systems; determine engineering specifications and recommend equipment.
• Identify and investigate current environmental problems or issues and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor regulatory actions and prepare required reports; obtain permits as required.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, training material and programs; conduct training sessions.
