Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Concurrent enrollment for duration of internship.
• Strong academic performance.
• On-site availability for 40 hours per week.
• Valid driver's license for work-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and/or develop environmental policies and guidelines.
• Provide guidance in organizing programs and procedures to implement requirements, including budget inputs, and monitor compliance.
• Design/review engineering designs and cost estimates for environmental equipment and systems.
• Identify and investigate environmental problems and communicate recommendations to senior management.
• Keep abreast of environmental legislation and regulatory developments and prepare reports and permits.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, training materials and programs; inform employees of policies; conduct training sessions.
