Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op - Environmental to join its collaborative team in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports environmental-related technical aspects of land development projects, with exposure to site feasibility studies, field work, and technical report preparation.

The position offers hands-on experience, opportunities to work with environmental leadership, and exposure to design plans and specifications on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Environmental Engineering (student).
• GPA 3.0 or greater.
• Strong analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Working knowledge of GIS or environmentally related software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations by logging borings, collecting samples, performing field tests and data collection.
• Monitor construction projects by performing tests to verify compliance with specifications.
• Identify solutions to field and/or laboratory problems and document results.
• Prepare reports documenting field investigations and analytical results.
• Prepare field logs and forms (drilling logs, dailies, chain of custody).
• Learn data management and modeling tools for environmental media and engineering analyses.
