This role provides hands on experience in a manufacturing environment, working alongside environmental and safety professionals on projects involving waste management, sampling, inspections, audits, and continuous improvement activities.YOUR IMPACTThese duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:Assist in the direct activities of our environmental & safety teams.Work with the environmental department to reduce cost and improve efficiency.Utilize value stream mapping to analyze and improve material flow and eliminate waste.Work with waste, sampling, paint logs, and water meters.Assist with audits and inspections.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSStudent in a sophomore standing or greater working towards a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.Must have the ability to communicate with a number of individuals at different management levels.WORKING CONDITIONSThe following represents general working conditions for this role.
