Job summary

HDR invites an Environmental Intern to join our Resources Business group for Summer 2027. You will participate in real-world projects, connect with recent grads and leaders through mentoring programs, and perform assignments under supervision. Join HDR during Summer 2027 for an internship in our Resources Business group focusing on Environmental Science.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role ofEnvironmental Intern, we'll count on you to:

• Participate inreal-world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Preference given to local/regional candidates pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related program during Summer 2027

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
