Job summary

Whitestone Associates, Inc. in Allentown, PA is offering a summer internship for students pursuing environmental science or related fields. This role provides hands-on experience in geotechnical and environmental consulting, with flexible hours May through August.

You will assist with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, Phase II investigations, and due diligence reports, gaining exposure to regulatory submittals and real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in an environmental discipline to be considered (Environmental Science, Geology, Geomechanics or Chemical Engineering with an Environmental focus).
• Strong interest in field-based environmental consulting and site assessments.
• Willingness to learn and support project teams in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
• Assisting with Preliminary Assessments.
• Assisting with Phase II Site Investigation/Remedial Investigations.
• Supporting due diligence reports and regulatory agency submittals.

This is a summer internship running from May/June through August, with flexible hours based on our project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments;
• Preliminary Assessments;
• Phase II Site Investigation/Remedial Investigations; and
• Assisting with due diligence reports and regulatory agency submittals.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be pursuing a B.S. degree in an environmental discipline to be considered (Environmental Science, Geology, Geomechanics or Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering).

Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Hourly Pay Range

$20 - $22 USD
