Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
- Concurrent enrollment required for the duration of the internship.
- Strong academic performance.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and/or develop environmental policies and guidelines and implement procedures.
- Provide guidance and technical assistance for programs, including budgeting and reporting to senior staff.
- Design/review environmental engineering specs and cost estimates for equipment/systems.
- Investigate environmental issues and recommend preventative actions to management.
- Monitor environmental legislation and regulatory actions and prepare related permits as required.
- Develop environmental information, manuals and training materials; conduct training sessions.
