Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health or related scientific field.
• Five years of experience with a local, state or Tribal EH program.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Tribal experience preferred.
• Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) or RS.
• Current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise EH staff, interns, and EH program activities.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the state certified drinking water lab in Dillingham.
• Provide technical guidance and support to communities across the Bristol Bay region.
• Assess sanitation systems and facilities, identify violations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EH laws.
