Job summary

Nakupuna Services LLC seeks a full-time Environmental Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the primary environmental health technical authority for DoWEA Pacific Region. The role covers responses to health inquiries, onsite testing, and guidance on asbestos, lead-based paint, indoor air quality, water, and mold for 45 campuses across 21 U.S. installations in Japan, Okinawa, S.

Korea, and Guam. Qualifications include a B.S. in IH or related field, 7+ years of experience, and CIH/CSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IH or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive environmental health experience.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain clearance.
• CIH or CSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SME for DoWEA environmental inquiries on hazards.
• Coordinate quarterly AHERA program meetings.
• Develop SME briefings on asbestos and health topics.
• Perform annual regulatory reviews and ensure compliance.
• Prepare asbestos abatement specs and project design reviews.
