Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience; one year at Environmental Sanitarian III level preferred.
• Alternate: Associate's degree with 6 years of related experience; one year at Environmental Sanitarian III.
• Alternate: High school diploma with 8 years of related experience; one year at Environmental Sanitarian III.
• Master's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage Environmental Health Services, including planning, directing and budgeting.
• Lead grant applications and administration for multiple program grants.
• Direct supervision of Environmental Health Services staff; assign duties and evaluate performance.
• Review and revise municipal codes related to environmental health (Ch 15 & 16).
• Collaborate with public, government and private sector agencies to address health needs.
• Balance competing priorities and perform related duties as assigned.
