We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to support safety and compliance at a highly regulated engineering and manufacturing facility in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role follows a 9/80A schedule, is 6 months in duration, and requires U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S.

government security clearance. Key responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to completion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EHS/Safety experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, industrial, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety regulations.
• Experience with inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Aerospace/defense or VPP experience is a plus.
• CSP/ASP certification is preferred.
