Job summary

Harvard Integrations LP is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the implementation and monitoring of safety programs at our facilities. The role involves conducting basic safety audits, providing safety training, and assisting in the development of safety policies and procedures to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, PPE inspections, emergency drills, and maintaining safety records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (environmental health and safety).
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • EMT-A or Paramedic certification highly desired.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards for manufacturing.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and influence team members.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and inspections for compliance.
  • Provide basic safety training and education to employees.
  • Investigate accidents/incidents, document findings, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain safety equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in emergency response plan development and drills.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.
  • Support Safety Manager in analyzing safety performance metrics.
  • Promote safety practices among employees.
  • Stay informed about current safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Perform jobsite safety evaluations in multiple areas.
  • Conduct safety meetings addressing deficiencies on site.
  • Perform PPE inspections and log inspection dates.
  • Responsible for purchasing and distributing safety equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Overview

Available Shift — Monday-Friday 3:00pm-12:00am

The Safety Coordinator supports the implementation and monitoring of the organization's safety programs. This role is responsible for conducting basic safety audits, providing safety training, and assisting in the development of safety policies and procedures. The Safety Coordinator works closely with employees to ensure adherence to safety protocols and helps to identify and address potential hazards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide basic safety training and education to employees.
  • Assist in investigating accidents and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain safety equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in the development of emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
  • Support the Safety Manager in analyzing safety performance metrics.

  • Conduct safety meetings as a result of safety deficiencies on site.
  • Performs PPE inspections when applicable and maintains a log with inspection dates.
  • Responsible for purchasing and distributing safety equipment for employees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in environmental health and safety).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
  • EMT-A or Paramedic certification highly desired with a willingness to learn occupational safety standards.
