Job summary

O-I is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Administrator to drive EH&S programs at the Brockway site and across Crenshaw Plant and Plant 76 Machine Repair Facility. The role partners with site leadership to embed safety into daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing EH&S, certifications (ASP/CSP/CIH) preferred, OSHA 10/30 preferred, and strong MS Office skills. Competitive salary with bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant performing Environmental, Health and Safety activities.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites or facilities is preferred.
• ASP, CSP, or CIH certification is preferred.
• Able to certify OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across three sites: Crenshaw Plant, Brockway Plant, and Plant 76 Machine Repair Facility.
• Experience leading, planning, and promoting all phases of the plant safety program.
• Be able to implement, administer and advise others on hazard controls and hazard control programs.
• Experience participating in state and federal OSHA inspections
• Coordinate the plant accident and investigation program, including maintaining required OSHA reports.
• Experience conducting mandated employee health and safety training programs
• Assist Regional EH&S staff in quantification, evaluation and control of employee exposure to potential health hazards

The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (Manufacturing)acts as a strategic partner and change agent, working with the NA Environmental and Health & Safety Departments to ensure consistent execution of regional EH&S policies and strategies. This role advises site leadership on EH&S objectives, challenges the status quo to drive improvement, and confidently pushes back when needed to maintain compliance and best practices. The position integrates EH&S into site culture and leads all phases of the plant’s environmental, health, and safety programs.

The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (EHS) will:

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
