Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Camden, AR is seeking a Senior Specialist, Environmental Health to lead and support a wide range of environmental compliance projects. The role requires applying advanced environmental concepts and strong regulatory interaction.

You will oversee air pollution and waste management programs, participate in audits, and develop training. Travel up to 10% and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline and at least 6 years of directly related experience.
• Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including permit applications, compliance recordkeeping and reporting with federal/state/local agencies.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs including air pollution, waste management, monitoring, corrective actions, stormwater, and SPCC.
• Lead investigations of environmental releases/incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external environmental audits and track corrective actions to closure.
• Evaluate new chemicals and facilities with process hazard analyses for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and conduct environmental training sessions.
