Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Intern to develop and improve EHS programs, policies, and training. The role supports a safe and healthy work environment across shifts at the Camden, AR site.

The intern will assist with JSA, noise surveys, air quality evaluations, RCCA investigations, and contractor coordination, while gaining exposure to facility health and safety audits and chemical review processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Systems Safety, Human Factors or related field.
• Preferred knowledge of OSHA, JSA, indoor air quality, hazardous noise, cranes, and aerial lift operations; proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and improvement of EHS programs and policies.
• Respond to employee concerns regarding health and safety issues.
• Conduct hazardous noise surveys and perform Job Hazard Analyses.
• Evaluate indoor air quality and track data from evaluations.
• Coordinate with third-party contractors for EHS-related activities.
• Participate in laboratory health and safety audits.
• Engage in RCCA investigations.
• Contribute to health and safety reviews of chemical purchase requests.
