Compensation: For candidates based in NY, the annual salary typically ranges from $100,800 to $117,200.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage EHS practices; implement EHS programs and policies compliant with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations; maintain records.
  • Implement written EHS programs and safety policies aligned with federal and state requirements; administer local hearing conservation programs per OSHA.
  • Maintain the facility's written contractor safety manual.
  • Manage Workers' Compensation claims; track injury and illness data; analyze trends; collaborate with third-party administrators and AOH personnel.
  • Coordinate regulatory inspections; ensure all EHS records are current and ready for review.
  • Review and maintain personal injury records; develop strategies for timely return-to-work for injured employees.
  • Investigate incidents; utilize root cause analysis; collaborate with line leaders to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain safety and health training programs to ensure OSHA compliance and safety awareness.
  • Serve as company liaison during insurance inspections; provide safety performance strategies; manage statistics; tailor training accordingly.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum BA/BS in science, engineering, or related field; 5-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Credentials such as OHST or CSP are advantageous.
  • Experience in food/beverage manufacturing or high-speed packaging preferred.
