A highly reputable and growing global aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking to hire an Environmental Health and Safety Manager for their expanding facility. This individual will be responsible for managing the EHS programs for the company’s 400+ employee production facility. Our client is a domestic leader in their industry and prides itself on an outstanding culture focused on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. This is a permanent, direct-hire position.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with and influence team members at all levels of the organization to promote a pervasive EHS culture.
• Ensure EHS compliance with regulatory authorities (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.) and organizational policies.
• Develop and implement EHS training and development programs for new and existing employees.
• Lead risk assessments, EHS audits, hazard analyses, and near-miss investigations.
• Collect, maintain, and analyze EHS data, records, and reports.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to EHS.
• Manage emergency action and first responder programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of EHS experience within manufacturing environments.
• Thorough understanding of current regulatory requirements, trends, and environment.
