Job Summary:

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Develop and implement inspection policies, procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
• Create health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
• Prepare and schedule training on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and relevant topics.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
• Draft inspection reports to document findings.
• Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and accessible.
• Maintain records of employee exposure to hazardous waste or pollutants, as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Five years of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to conduct inspections and carry equipment.
• Prolonged sitting and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
