Job Summary:
The Environmental Health and Safety Manager will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Develop and implement inspection policies, procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
- Create health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
- Prepare and schedule training on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and relevant topics.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures.
- Draft inspection reports to document findings.
- Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and accessible.
- Maintain records of employee exposure to hazardous waste or pollutants, as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Five years of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to conduct inspections and carry equipment.
- Prolonged sitting and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
The physical demands and environment include occasional exposure to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, weather conditions, and loud noise (aviation environment). Travel requirement is approximately 30-40%.
