Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000
Hybrid: Occasional Travel
Full-Time, Direct Hire

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead and implement a robust health and safety program across multiple operating states. If you’re ready to join a team that values safety, quality, and integrity, this might be the role for you!

What You’ll Do:
  • Program Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety program across all regions without extensive oversight.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulations. Maintain detailed records of training programs, incident investigations, audits, corrective actions, medical monitoring, exposure assessments, fit testing, etc.
  • Training & Education: Develop and execute tailored training programs such as OSHA refreshers and hazard-specific courses. Engage employees at all levels to foster buy-in for safety initiatives.
  • Incident Management: Lead investigations into workplace accidents or near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Hazard Assessment: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and maintain appropriate controls (engineering, administrative, PPE).
  • Strategic Integration: Align safety practices with business objectives by identifying risks, prioritizing mitigation strategies, and balancing cost controls with operational efficiency.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 7+ years of health and safety management experience in environmental engineering or construction services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in environment, occupational health and safety, or related field.
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and hazard identification.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging diverse audiences (field staff vs. executives).
  • Leadership skills with capabilities to motivate teams toward prioritizing health and safety.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP); OSHA HAZWOPER trainer certification strongly desired.
