Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks an experienced EHS professional to lead plant-level safety and environmental programs for a 150-employee production site and four smaller facilities (20–30 employees each) located in PA, KS, AZ and FL, with travel to each site once a year.

The role focuses on managing EHS activities within an ISO-based platform, including training, auditing, workers' compensation, and EHSS systems administration, while strengthening safety culture and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of plant-level safety and environmental background.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical area is required.
• Experience with ISO-based platforms and EHSS systems administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the EHS function for a 150-employee plant and four smaller facilities across PA, KS, AZ and FL; travel to each site once a year.

Responsible for supporting the EHS function (heavy focus on safety & health) for a (150) employee, non-union production plant plus (4) small manufacturing/distribution facilities with (20-30) employees each located in PA, KS, AZ and FL (travel to each site once a year).There are no direct reports – sole EHS position for the site.

Manage EHS activities through an ISO based platform and reporting tools. Safety: training, auditing, workers compensation, EHSS systems administration; continue strengthening their safety culture journey and employee engagement. Roll out corporate programs/systems and work closely with Corporate EHS. Maintain EHSS metrics, recordkeeping, and general environmental compliance.
