Job summary

Accounting Search seeks an EHS professional to lead safety and environmental programs for a multi-site manufacturing footprint in the United States. You will manage ISO-based systems, conduct safety training and audits, handle workers' compensation and EHSS administration, and drive a stronger safety culture while aligning with corporate programs.

This is a sole EHS role with no direct reports, requiring travel to sites across PA, KS, AZ and FL once per year to implement initiatives and collect

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of plant-level safety and environmental experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical area.

Job description

Must have at least (3) years of plant level safety and environmental background along with a Bachelor degree in a technical area.

Responsible for supporting the EHS function (heavy focus on safety & health) for a (150) employee, non-union production plant plus (4) small manufacturing/distribution facilities with (20-30) employees each located in PA, KS, AZ and FL (travel to each site once a year).There are no direct reports – sole EHS position for the site.

Manage EHS activities through an ISO based platform and reporting tools. Safety: training, auditing, workers compensation, EHSS systems administration; continue strengthening their safety culture journey and employee engagement. Roll out corporate programs/systems and work closely with Corporate EHS. Maintain EHSS metrics, recordkeeping, and general environmental compliance.
