Job summary

RL Recruiting seeks an Environmental, Health, and Safety Engineer for an onsite 6‑month contract at our manufacturing facility. You will perform on-the-floor EHS support, lead safety observations, and drive safety initiatives with focus on compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in a manufacturing setting, and certification in relevant EHS disciplines. You will interact with operators, supervisors, and managers to foster a proactive safety culture

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environment experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and machine safety.
• Familiarity with fall protection requirements.
• Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Experience with emergency response programs and incident management.
• Ability to identify hazards and perform risk assessments.
• Experience guiding operators and supervisors on EHS matters.

We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment and strong working knowledge of:

• Fall Protection requirements and implementation.
• Dock safety, including pedestrian and powered industrial vehicle interactions.
• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management systems
• Emergency Response Programs, emergency preparedness, and incident management.
• Risk assessment and hazard identification methodologies.
• Incident investigation and corrective action processes.
• Employee safety engagement and behavior-based safety initiatives.
