As an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the organization's health and safety policies and procedures to ensure all employees work in a safe and healthy environment and that the organization complies with current and future regulations and laws.

This position reports directly to the Manager and is based in Houston, TX.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience required. Degree in Occupational Safety and Health preferred.
• Skills: Experience developing safety plans, conducting safety audits, and providing constructive, fact-based feedback across departments with individualized suggestions for improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Oversee and coordinate activities to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisory and management personnel to formulate policies and procedures.
• Investigate accidents, complete reports, and liaise with specialists and authorities to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
• Recommend changes to working conditions to ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to internal standards.
• Maintain and analyze records of injuries, illnesses, and absences to identify concerns.
• Educate and train staff on health and safety policies and standards.
