Job summary

Moran Environmental Recovery LLC seeks a Director of Commercial Development in Jacksonville, FL to accelerate growth across environmental, industrial, emergency response, and field services. You will lead hands-on sales, build a high-quality pipeline, and expand strategic customer relationships to drive revenue.

The role collaborates with Environmental leadership, regional teams, and enterprise resources, with potential evolution into broader commercial leadership as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Seven+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, account management, or market development.
• Proven ability to originate, qualify, pursue, and close new opportunities.
• Strong customer relationship skills across field, operations, and executive audiences.
• Business acumen linking revenue growth, margin, utilization, and capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and professional presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across priority markets, geographies, and service lines.
• Build and maintain a practical target account list and an active qualified pipeline.
• Expand work with existing customers through retention, cross-sell, and growing accounts.
• Create pipeline coverage for regions with utilization risk to reduce volatility when accounts are lost.
• Represent Moran to customers and lead senior-level engagements with strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with Operations to align commercial activity with capacity and safety.
