Job summary

Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC is seeking a commercially driven Director of Commercial Development to accelerate growth across environmental, industrial, emergency response, and field services businesses in Jacksonville, FL. You will lead efforts to develop new business, expand strategic relationships, and build a healthy pipeline of high-quality opportunities.

Initially focused on hands-on selling and market development, the role will evolve into broader commercial leadership as the business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Environmental Services, Industrial Services, or equivalent.
• Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in business development, sales, account management, or market development.
• Proven ability to originate, qualify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
• Strong customer relationships across field, operations, and executives.
• Excellent communication, forecasting, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM, Power BI, Excel, and commercial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across priority markets and service lines.
• Build and maintain a practical target account list and active qualified pipeline.
• Expand work with existing customers through retention, cross-sell, and growing accounts.
• Maintain CRM, pipeline, and forecast information; support account planning and reviews.
• Lead and develop account managers to improve retention and margin.
